Our 7th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partnered with The Listen Foundation
Westwind Community Matters hosted its 7th Annual Charity event in partnership with The Listen Foundation who help children Hear, Listen and Talk. They are dedicated to helping families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing reach their best spoken language and mainstream outcome through Listening and Spoken Language Therapy. Listen Foundation provides for and assists children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families, with access to a proven speech, language, and listening therapy method to help them achieve a life of independence. We raised $52,000 in which all of the money raised went directly to The Listen Foundation. Thank you to all that participated in this event and we look forward to seeing you at the next one!

The 6th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partner was Sungate Kids
Westwind Management Group LLC held their 6th Annual Colorado Classic event donating to Sungate Kids. With our wonderful vendors' generous support, we were able to raise $51,340 to help this inspiring cause that helps give children a voice to stop abuse. Sungate Kids was able to hire a new member to their staff to help advocate and provide support for the children they work with thanks to everyone's gracious donations.
In 2020 the "Colorado Classic" made a comeback with Judi's House
Judi’s House is the only free-standing organization in the Metro Denver area devoted solely to providing research based care to grieving children and their families. Our goal was to raise $32,000. Our team was able to successfully navigate through a global pandemic and pivot to host a hybrid in person and virtual event where we raised a total of $33,500! None of this would be possible without the support from both Judi’s House, our valued industry partners, and our amazing participants.
The 4th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partner was Brent's Place
Brent's Place is a long-term home away from home for children and families with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at local hospitals. Our goal was to raise $30,000 for Brent’s Place. Thanks to our sponsors, our Westwind family, and all of the participants leading up to and at our event, we raised a total of $40,000! Those funds will be used toward providing, and furnishing, two “Safe-Clean” apartments for one year and other amenities for families during their stays.
Our 2018 “Colorado Classic” Charity Event partnered with Angels of Americas Fallen (AOAF)
They empower children of our fallen heroes to participate in healing developmental activities such as sports, music, and other arts as positive outlets for their grief during their entire childhood. The activities already exist in their communities and AOAF also ensures mentoring throughout the time of the children’s participation in the program.
Thanks to our sponsors, donors, and our Westwind family, we raised $25,000 to sponsor the Rizzo family, Isis (10) and her brother Anthony “Bubba” (7), until both graduate from the program at the age of 18.
2017 saw our 2nd annual Charity Event, “A Fall Affair”
Freedom Service Dogs was the beneficiary of the proceeds from the event. We donated $20,000 to sponsor THREE Disco’s Dogs families: Team Tick E, Team Tico, and Team Falkor. We also held a Kona Ice event that benefited The Kids Mobility Network and raised $2,000, enough to purchase a recreational bike for a child living with a disability.
In 2016, our company hosted our 1st Annual Charity Banquet Event
Over $11,000 was raised for Make-A-Wish and specifically granted the wish of one very special little boy as well as contributed to granting most of the wish for a very special little girl. We also were honored to raise money for Ralston House, collect school supplies for Cherry Creek Schools Foundation, and provide Christmas Gifts for Arapahoe County's Adopt-a-Family program.
